#60 - Space Shuttle
At some point when I was a kid I wanted to be an astronaut. I think mainly I wanted to be weightless and do fun things with food. Sucking floating spheres of water through a straw just looks way cool. Whenever I went on a field trip to the museum of science and industry in chicago I had to get some of that astronaut ice cream. I was exciting to drink Tang when I was a kid but I could never figure out how the dealt with the powder and the stirring in zero gravity.

I remember the astronaut ice cream! I wish I could find some without going to the science museum…

Biff has some nice socks there. It is truly a great loss for all of humanity that they shall be lost in re-entry.

I licked a pole out side. My tongue got stuck, and i pulled it off. There was a layer of skin on the pole until spring. And dipping dots is he exact same thing as astronaut ice cream.

dippin dots are not the same thing as astronnaut ice cream. dippin dots are flash frozen with liquid nitrogen and must be stored at -20 degrees Fareneight. astronaut ice cream is dehydrated and stored at room temperature. it’s also very yummy.

when i went to space/science camp there was a gift shop that sold huge blocks of astronaut ice cream that was meant to be shared with people. anyone who could finish it in one sitting got a free space/science camp sweatshirt and plushie. i was the only one in my group who could do it

No wonder you’re Oddly Frozen, then… *badum-pish**cricket**gunshot*
This is nothing to leaving your caffeine on the hood of the shuttle and forgetting it’s there before takeoff, though. Not only does the liquid fly off into space and hit your operating engineer on the head, but you wind up with a lack-of-caffeine-hangover for the rest of the day. -.-

I wanna space shuttle… I’d reenter the atmosphere right over the houses of people I hate…

I was given an IQ test when I was very young (part of a general assessment thing) and when they asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I told them I wanted to be “an animal.”
I can proudly say I achieved this goal.

Wow, Never had astronaut food.
Have, however sampled many items from Australian Army ration packs. Ration pack Vegemite tastes the same as normal Vegemite. Delicious.
Also, Army chocolate ROCKS. Even though it is essentially out of date chocolate. It still rocks.

Chris, I too loved MSI in Chicago when I was growing up, was at the dedication of the Henry Crown Space Center, Michael Collins (Apollo 11 Command Module pilot) . The way Tang worked in space was sort of an injection thing. You injected the powder packet with water, filled it up, squished it around and…voila… weak-tasting orange simulated beverage.

What would Biff be doing licking a space shuttle. Wrong place, Biff. Wrong time, Biff.
