Man, I think I’ve had two migraines in my life, within a week of each other (I don’t know what I was doing that week), and about half an hour before they started, I’d go partially blind. No joke. It was amazing what I couldn’t see.
LordRetard, i would say you werent getting enough magnesium, and potassium, either that or you had diarreah for an extended period and werent able to absorb the two nutrients. Magnesium defficiencies are the leading cause of migranes, and potassium is needed inside the eye.
Aah jeez I almost died. Not only was the comic hillarious but then at Prometheus’s comment, “*mumbles dirty things about Jesus’s mother*”… aah. Why did nobody else find that funny? Poor Mary, ya know? Give birth to the son of God, and whaddya get? Dirty things said about you from Greek Titans. Can’t polytheism and monotheism just get along? Agree to disagree.
(Promethius is a Greek Titan who stole fire from gods and gave it to mortals to use.)
whoa - sophie, I had the EXACT same situation. migranes practically weekly for more than a year when I was about 10. I have NEVER heard of anyone else with the same problem. o.O
I’m totally freaked out right now.
and uh…side note, I guess…this comic is amazing, Chris = genius.
and the comment boxes are half the fun!
Fenix, you can too fit a whole beach ball in your mouth! Just add the air later.
Anyways, I have a constant headache. No joke. When my head is worse, it probably is near migrane. My head is always throbbing when it gets to loud, so i take 4 asprin as part of my daily supplement. not dead yet, but i don’t reccomend anyone else try.
Demonrex, after #10, #24, #33, #39, and #48, you are honestly expecting any part of his oral system to be working correctly? After all that, EVERYTHING probably tastes like either plastic or rubber.
I actually know someone who, off medication, gets three or four or more migraines - a DAY. I can’t believe Tsuki managed to function without meds. I’ve gotten one migraine in my life, and I spent the duration hiding under a blanket crying and screaming if somebody made a noise or bumped the light higher. Was NOT fun.
I’m not sure if was intended or not, but I like how the comic is titled “grape” and the walls and furniture is purple. Like a grape. It was the first thing I noticed, before the big round head.
I’ve never gotten a migraine, but I’ve had more-or-less continual headaches for the last couple of years. Usually it’s just a dull discomfort, but it gets worse with loud noises, bright lights (my eyes are also photosensitive, so I wear sunglasses a lot, even inside), and stress; they’re LETHAL during exam time.

where i want to take a drill to my head to relieve the pressure

Don’t do that! You’ll pop the beach ball!

How could he make that mistake? Beach balls taste nothing like grapes.
June 28th, 2007 at 8:27 am

July 24th, 2007 at 4:55 pm
how can you not tell the difference between a grape and a beach ball? the only simularity is that theyre both round.
Biff makes me laugh.
August 15th, 2007 at 12:06 pm
