I’m just wondering, if it’s not necessarily a good idea, that implies that sometimes it is a good idea… When would that be? Some sort of James-Bond-style bed with super-strong puffer fish, designed to poke your enemies to death as they sleep?

I have a waterbed now (HOLY HELL YES) and I am deathly terrified of this happening to me (Holy hell NO!) every night. When I lay down to go to sleep I like curl up and lay stock still. Even when my girlfriend came over and we… *ahem*… >//> ‘got to business’… I insisted we do it on the floor and not on the waterbed, because 1) Its meant for one person and not two, so there wasn’t a whole lot of room in the first place, and 2) I was terrified our movements would pop it. We could sleep on it fine, it was big enough for that (and made snuggling mandatory for us to fit <3) we just couldnt, ah, ‘get busy’ on it. I’m still deathly afraid of it popping and drowning in my sleep and every time it so much as twitches under me I’m wide awake in a split second.
I can see how that would be a problem.

I’m betting he got the fish at *cough* 3:00 in the morning *cough*.
He didnt feed them and they all bellied up, thats why they are poking holes in it. they bloated up after dying.
Remember how his water bed exploded and he slept on the couch before realising it was a fold out? That’s why he was there in the first place…
and he needed the waterbed because the wheeled 1 is stuck in the wall!
He must have crushed his puffer fish and killed it.
