Actually I’m disappointed anyone explained it.. it would be even funnier (which is very very very funny) to read in the paper that someone had seen something in a Biff cartoon and decided to try it out themselves ‘cuz they didn’t get that it was a joke :).
What is with all of you and 3 of the clock in the morning? Am I the only one who does normal stuff at that time, like read webcomics? Who stays up that late to watch tv?
@Deteramot: At three in the morning is when all the infomercials air. The theory is that the people up at that hour are sleep-deprived and therefore judgment-impaired, so they’re more likely to buy into the sales pitch. Thus, all the people talking about three a.m. salesmen probably don’t actually stay up that late.

This is the only comic I don’t get. Is it because he has no yacht?

Doggy doors are supposed to lead to the outside. Maybe he installed it for his Portuguese Water Dog.

No the yacht he had filled with water because it rushed in through the doggy door on it.

It hurts to see that no one explained it to them for a whole month.

Tkort, I think everyone able to read knows better than to do anything that Biff does.

It almost tops with one of the funniest parody comments I’ve ever heard -
“Whoops. Maybe I shouldn’t have drilled aircondition holes into the floor.”
January 23rd, 2007 at 6:18 pm
Well, I understood it inmediately xD… Biff is definetely a bad buyer…

I’m surprised he actually got the conventional lifejacket. I’d expect he’d get the one with lead trim.
May 30th, 2007 at 10:10 pm
He probably had a life raft, but of course it was made of cheese and eaten by sharks.
May 30th, 2007 at 11:02 pm
The salesman must have been there at three a.m.
June 9th, 2007 at 6:49 pm
Hmm, the lead-trimmed life jacket: for when you don’t want Superman to see as much.
October 16th, 2007 at 6:49 pm
I think that his life raft had airconditioning holes…

With all his cheese things, I expected Swiss cheese to be involved before I read the caption.

i think the sales man liked biffs boat so much he got him to buy a doggie door for it so he could steal it
August 8th, 2008 at 10:42 am
His yacht sank because it had the doggie door.
