MOVING TIP: Forget the cardboard, ppl, go to your nearest big-name discount chain store (Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Target, etc) and buy great big plastic stackboxes! You can label them using Sharpie marker on clear packing tape, so the labels aren't necessarily permanent. Sterilite makes clear ones so you can see what's inside, even! My moving record was 5 cities in 12 months--2 of the cities TWICE, so I got all kindsa clue about this! :)

I have to agree about the boxes remaining packed. I made a rule: If the tape doesn't come off of the box by the next move, it gets thrown out. If it doesn't get emptied by the move after that, it gets thrown out.

I've moved about 7 times, twice to different towns in different counties than the original one, and this all started when I was about six. I am now 18. Moving IS a form of mental abuse.

I have moved 2 times in my life and I am starting to hate moving. Mainly because my parents hated their surrounding.

I'm starting to think of moving as a legal form of mental abuse.
