That’s something that we will hopefully be able to do soon. Get a new kitchen floor. It seems like the hardest part about doing projects like that can be choosing the colors. I think maybe we should get tile that perfectly matches a dropped peanut butter and jelly sandwich. That would surely save some time in the future.

Ah, I recently changed my kitchen tiles. They used to be white and now they’re light brown. Now it doesn’t LOOK as dirty as it used to.
Biff should get some waterproof kitchen tile.. Stuff.

u guys have all the luck. all the houses i have lived in except this townhouse i am currently living in. have had carpet in the bathrooms and kitchen. if the floor ever got wet it stayed that way for like 2 days. stains all over the kitchen floor. mom finally got a carpet shampooer thingy and that took care of most of em tho.

When I was little I always had a dream that my house flooded and I went swimming through the halls and rooms. And then I had dreams where the house was upside down and I was walking on the ceiling looking up at my dad/brother.. I dont get those dreams anymore.

I have to say, all of the times that I’ve helped put tile down, it’s *still* pretty tough regardless. I hate home renovation. It’s one of those things that makes *everyone* angry.

the tile in my kitchen is awful, its like the cheap stick-on-tile, and the people in the house before me used to smoke so we found an old cigarete but, on the tile.

Heh, when I read Chris’ little monologue under the comic, I had only scrolled down far enough to see the first line; “That’s something that we will hopefully be able to do soon.”
I thought he was going to speculate on how awesome the future would be when we–humanity as a whole–could tile our kitchens underwater or something like that. But no, it was just mundane chit-chat about renovations.
Speaking of mundane home improvements, I just got some really sweet wooden venetian blinds. Hopefully they’re not water-tight, so if I flood my apartment the water will flow out the windows. I don’t think my landlady would be please, otherwise.

Anywho, when I read Chris’s little blurb I thought he meant he hoped he could drain out his kitchen soon.
Does anyone besides me get the feeling Biff flooded his kitchen for the express purpose of changing the tiles? Like maybe it cause the spring loaded ones to go off so he could dismantle them without getting hit.

i have a theory that biff is actualy just a stupider version of god, i mean all the things he does that would kill anyone else is amazing. Plus if he moved to scotland he could flood his kitchen and not get a bill, for here in bonnie ol scotland we dont have water bills.

Have you guys seen the description of the book of biff on topwebcomics.com? the small one says Weird crap 5 days a week! I find it an outrage that they use the word crap to describe biff our lucky charm that sucks up bad luck so that we don’t get it

Our kitchen sometimes gets a tiny stream of water underneath the stove from the washing machine. It goes right across the path to the bathroom, so I try not to wear socks whenever walking to the bathroom. We keep old towels ready for things like that.
Our bathroom used to have carpet, which made no sense. Thankfully, our landlord decided to remodel the kitchen and bathroom a few years back, and we threw in a request for linoleum in the bathroom, so we can now safely drip water on the bathroom floor without it soaking in, staying, and molding. The linoleum was laid haphazardly, as the remodelers weren’t professionals(the kitchen is tilted and the silverware drawer could never close), but it serves the purpose.
I hope we can afford to get out of this house soon…

Oh, and I love your Silent Kimbly guest comic. I saw it before this, since my rss feeds are in alphabetical order(”Silent” before “The”). The art style seems a little different than the Biff comics. Maybe it’s just the change of characters that makes it look so different, though.

I just read the whole comic from beginning to end, & in only one sitting. Well worth my time, I might add. =) Very funny and clever.
Anyway, it would be fun to try and sit on the spring-loaded tiles with the kitchen in It’s aquatic state. You’d be just like a flying fish, if you could avoid slamming into walls and ceilings.

In my new house, we have hardwood floor. It’s easier to clean, but it also has a interesting look.

I have a kitchen floor that looks like the linloeum company just took all the scrap material they could find, swirled it all together, and rolled it out in sheets. It’s mostly brown from a distance, but if you look close enough you can find just about anything. When dealing with small objects in the kitchen you must watch them at all times. If you drop one and don’t either see or hear approximately where it fell there is a good chance you may never see it again.
