#322 – Shirt
I used to write notes for myself on my hand all the time. I’m actually not sure why I stopped. I don’t think I stopped forgetting things. I would usually just write some numbers or a few sets of initials. They usually weren’t understandable to anyone but me. One time I wanted to remember to buy the new album “Death to the Pixies” after work. I wound up drawing a tombstone on the back of my hand with the initials “DP” carved into it. Through the course of the day it developed into a rather detailed drawing. I later found out that one of my co-workers was getting nervous since her initials are “DP” as well.
Thanks to everyone that bid on my first Biff art auction. The proceeds from that have pushed the preorder project up to 82%!

That is absolutly genious, especially considering how pale he is. I’ll have to do that when school starts

Wow that is pretty good idea bBff. I write on my self all the time but it is bad like you I usually need to remember to get something i like heavy Metal so a lot of the name look weird on your hand for example Megadeth.

I laughed so hard when I saw Biff. And the storry to go with it was another long chuckle.
Thanks, I needed that.

Nice… It would be terrible if he had a tan…
August 29th, 2007 at 12:53 am
Did he get the job? Did he get the job?!
August 29th, 2007 at 1:00 am
I used to draw a watch on my wrist back in school. I used to put reminders on my hand, but nowadays I just draw a big dot on the back of my hand. If I cant remember what it was for, it mustn’t have been too important.

His nipples and navel should be covered up somehow. I wonder how he’ll do that. But maybe no one will notice it.
August 29th, 2007 at 2:01 am
@Lord:
He’d just be, like, ‘it’s one of those funny shirts that has those things sewn on’
….
y’know, if he could talk…

I write notes on myself all the time, though it’s usually hidden by a sleeve or something so no one can see it. Over the course of the day, it tends to fade away into even harder to understand gibberish and I wind up forgetting why I wrote it there in the first place, and what it said… So many messages lost…
August 29th, 2007 at 5:22 am
Meeting Biff person would be a riot.
August 29th, 2007 at 6:45 am
im not quite sure the comments are working
August 29th, 2007 at 6:55 am
“It would be terrible if he had a tan…”
Unless it was a well-defined farmer’s tan. Then it’d work even better!
August 29th, 2007 at 7:14 am
Well, at least he has pants. (insert proper emoticon here)
I’ve tried writing notes on my hand and arm, but nothing ever stays. It just gets blurry in a few minutes.
August 29th, 2007 at 8:35 am
I have seen people with tattoos and body paints that could walk around shirtless, without being recognised as topless. Great thinking, Biff- and at least you are wearing trousers. Pantless interviews are rather iffy…
August 29th, 2007 at 8:35 am
I used to doodle on my hand.
Chris, when you said about the tombstone and Dp I, forgetting to read the top part, thought you meant Danny Phantom.
What’ll he do in summer when it still hasn’t washed off d’you thnk?
August 29th, 2007 at 9:33 am
Biff better not forget that his shirt is only a drawing during the interview… It could be disastrous if he tries to stick a pen in his front “pocket”.
I work in a hospital, and used to take notes on my rubber gloves. Then I’d leave my lab and have to take the gloves off, completely oblivious that I just threw away whatever I was trying to remember. Poor planning on my part… now I just use sticky pads.

Maybe I could tatoo a tie around my neck and down my chest. That way if I go to one of those swanky places my wife is always bugging me to take her that has a dress code; and I forget my tie, I could just whip off my shirt.
Last time I forgot my tie, I grabbed a set of jumpercables from my car and wrapped them around my neck. The Matre’d let me, but he gave me a stern warning not to start anything.

I write stuff on my arm all the time. For a while i would draw complex celtic knots all over it to pass the time. All my friends started to call me “the illustrated man”.
August 29th, 2007 at 12:13 pm
Hm….Biff in a shirt. I’m sure some ladies who read this will be “ga-ga” over this one. *looks innocent*
August 29th, 2007 at 12:40 pm
He could get a red pen and get himself a tie.
August 29th, 2007 at 6:02 pm
Only one anagram can sum up that story. LOL.
August 29th, 2007 at 6:15 pm
BIFF NIPPLES!!!!! XDDDD
August 29th, 2007 at 8:28 pm
Trevor: That’s an acronym.
This one did strike my funny-bone.
August 29th, 2007 at 9:24 pm
Typo… permenent? Or permanent?
August 29th, 2007 at 9:25 pm
I tried writing reminders on my hands once, I forgot to look at them. How often do people really look at their hands? Not very I’ll bet.
August 29th, 2007 at 9:37 pm
Matthew, nice… that one almost made it the whole day without anyone noticing.
August 29th, 2007 at 10:45 pm
When I was younger I doodled on my hand…Smilie faces and scribbles and decorative lines. They never smeared either. I used good quality pens to draw them. And the sad thing is that My mom always made me wash it off. But when I was writing a note on my palm with a sharpie, it would be unrecognizable in less than two minutes. Ah well.
Good comic! Although I’d never try that…it’s a good Idea for someone like Biff.

I’m always drawing on myself or on other people, i just check that they won’t get into trouble first, i drew an awesome design on my arm one time, it started with a small flower on the back of my hand and that had thin vines coming from it going in all directions, they ended up curling all around my fingers and up to my elbow, it was good fun. I think the latest one was little spirals all in close drawn in close like a fingerless glove, it was cool. If I’m at work (McDonalds) and i want to write something on my hand to remember it, i have a problem ’cause i’m often washing my hands, so i write notes on my… bicep (i guess that’s the easiest way to explain it) so it won’t wash off or be discovered by managers and i discover it later when I’m getting changed. Anyways
~God Bless~

Sleepingorange: I think he meant palyndrome anyway

Buzzardo nice joke there!!
Chris as always it is a pleasure to read these.
August 31st, 2007 at 5:31 am
I learned long ago that with my memory I shouldn’t tie the importance of the thing I want to remember with my ability to remember it. I’m just as likely to forget important stuff as unimportant…
August 31st, 2007 at 10:25 pm
Hee hee! This reminds me of the SNL fake commercial skit for Shirt in a Can.
*Tim Meadows drops blueberry cobbler on dress shirt*
“@#$! it!!!”
Also, he appears to have concave nipples.

I don’t write notes on my hand, but I always test pens by scribling on my hand.
November 17th, 2007 at 12:41 pm
I don’t usually write on my hand, but once a couple of years ago I drew a vine on my leg in prismacolor markers…It went all the way up to my shoulder before it faded too far,
I have a picture here: http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a371/darkmariel/vine.png

sorry the pic is so small..

That..is so AWESOME!
July 13th, 2008 at 3:35 am
Oh that Biff, always finding new ways to be extraordinary…
Note: extraordinary can be pronounced either way in this context.
March 22nd, 2009 at 8:47 am
Wonder how he’d roll his sleeves up.
April 18th, 2009 at 11:11 am
That would never work with me.
