During Basic Training we were ordered to carry around these big square two quart canteens full of water. Then every night before falling into the Barracks we used to have what was called 'Hydration Formation'. Basically everyone was required to show up to formation with an absolutely full canteen. Then the Drill Sgts. would shout 'DRINK WATER!' And we would chant 'Beat the heat drill sgt.! Beat the heat! 'Cause there ain't no heat like the Carolina heat 'cause the Carolina heat is hot!' and then promptly upend our canteens into our gullets. We were required to drink the entire contents of the canteen in a short period of time and then hold them upside down over our heads. If you didn't finish your canteen by the time the Drill Sgts said stop, you would end up dumping water all over yourself and were quickly in trouble.
I used to find it amusing to try and finish my canteen before everyone else in the platoon, why I'm not sure because I always ended up with a horribly full gut where I could literally feel the water level in my esophagus. Luckily I never threw up :)

trueblaze... is thrusty lately for some reason? I don't want to even know why you want to thrust <.<

Also, is it me or does the water coming out under Biff's arm seem to be coming out at a different angle than it goes in at? The way it looks it couldn't be water just running off of him.

I used to chug whole gallon of water when I was working at a Deli. I was the only person there most of the time and had an average of 120-200 people per hour for 8 hours straight. You dehydrate very fast working like that, and use a lot of deodorant when you get a chance to get a breather. I learned if you Chug very fast at first, then slowly get the rest in while breathing through your nose after every gulp, you can effectively chug that gallon fast. But going to the bathroom every 2 hours is a pain, because after 1 and a half hour, your bladder starts to feel..very full. very full.

p.s. I still need 1 gallon a day to be in the good, but not 4-5 gallons like I was doing before.

Hmm, useful bit of information, Sleeping Orange person.

As for the RSS feed, I actually preferred it the old way, because Thunderbird just loads the webpage, comments and all. BUT, I often wind up opening it in my browser anyway, because Thunderbird doesn't save my name and addresses in the comment field. Either way, it's not really much of an inconvenience the new way. I figure this new way might be better in some RSS readers that would only display a link.

Drinking a liter of water in one sitting? It's not TOO hard...just a little excessive. Unless you've been running for an hour.

Lol. I've never been overly thirty. I really don't drink 'water' all that much. Soda and this red dimond tea though... I hate it when you drink water and it has like this...hot kinda dirty taste.
