#426 - Phrenology
I had a hard time getting hats that fit me when I was a kid. Not the knitted winter kind, mostly baseball caps. I have a slightly large and square head. It’s not very symmetrical, if you have been reading the blog posts long enough you can probably guess why. When we decided to have children my wife was a little worried because of the size of my skull.

Poor Biff. So disappointing not to measure up to something….

He could use it as a fort though…

Ah, but put a few windows in there and a door, and Biffs got himself a nice place to hang out. A nice little cottage.
Of course it would be better if it was made of cheese, but then you might have mice problems. And it sure beats a crowded, smelly old shoe!

That’ll make for some insane hat hair.

Oh man. I’ve been reading this comic for months but never commented–today I have to comment because I love the title of this comic so much!

Can’t Biff just use his shrink ray on the hat?

If he turns it upside-down, he may be able to catch the ball every now and then!

That’d make a mad sail boat! Flip it over and go for a cruise. Oh, wait. He’d still have to get it to water…

Everyone gets disappointed. Hugs.

So how many kids do you and your wife have? I can understand your wife’s fear.

Don’t worry chris, I’m sure your oddly sized head houses an oversized brain.
Oh and for the comic, hhmmmm, I like Schulzy’s idea.

The giants play a lot of sports! First golf, now baseball…
I wonder how big their swimming pools are?
Put an MLB team logo on it, and you’ve got an awesome tent!

“When we decided to have children my wife was a little worried because of the size of my skull.”
Haha, should have told her pain builds character.

Oh man, tell me about it. My wife said the same thing when she was pregnant.
I wear a size 8 ball cap, anyone got a bigger head than an 8?

my dad has a HUGE head. I don’t seem to have inherited it. wouldn’t have mattered to my mom anyway because I was a C-section

cyber95- that is EXACTLY the song that came into my head. That album was released on iTunes on my birthday. I consider it to be a special gift just for me from the Johns.

O man! I remember my high school was the most frustrating place ever because I had an older brother, about 5 grades ahead of me, who whirled through it and his teachers adored him. I got there and was this little rebel child, and they were horrified. Haha. To this day, people I’ve known for years still say to me in surprise: “You’re HIS little sister!”. . .I went to college to escape it, but his Magic:the Gathering conquests still color my interactions with other nerds. Sigh. Biff, sometimes I know exactly how you feel. x-x

I too know the shame of having an odd shaped giant head.
Not only is it big, but my forehead is huge. I used to say, I feel bad for my kid, when hes born, crawling around, dragging his head on the ground, all top heavy like.

Ever heard of reverse Phrenology?
That is when someone with a mallet put lumps on your head to give you certain personality traits.
Idea c/o Terry Pratchett
