Heh, I always have loved chocolate. I love Reese's Cups, but they're a pain to get here in Aus - I know of one place in my city that sells them.

But I do remember vividly when my brother let me have a cherry liquer chocolate...it took three glasses of milk before my throat stopped burning. Still, the alcohol fumes cured my blocked nose, so there was some good out of it. But I didn't taste any cherry.

My personal faves are pineapple creams or just plain milk chocolate (Lindt is good, though Cadbury is better for hot chocolate). I find caramel to be too sweet, same with strawberry. In fact, I hate most strawberry-flavored stuff - it's always sickly-sweet, unlike raspberry.

It should be obvious that I studied Greek art because it's part of my heritage, but the way my life has played out, I'm not surprised I'm repeating the steps that were taken in one's mind.

I recently received a box of truffles. They were awful!

@Kitty & Radical Edward: You two make it sound as if being single is some kind of horrific, dire fate, the sort of thing that would've been made into a Greek tragedy.

I beg to differ. I'm perfectly happy being single. Means that all my free time is open to devote to things of personal interest rather than compromising on any of it, all my spare cash is open to fund said things of personal interest rather than going to buy idiotic little gifts because they're expected, and all my energy is able to be devoted to whatever catches my interest at the moment as opposed to being siphoned off into someone else's hobbies and demands.

Then again, I'm not a social animal in the first place, so I suppose that people who *are* might want to moon over what a sorry life this is. Me, I'll be having fun off that way.

I like peanut clusters, especially with caramel. However, I don't care for peanut M&Ms or nuts in any other form of chocolate. (Especially not in chocolate brownies!)

I like the orange cream candies, pineapple too. The cherry and strawberry creams in those sampler boxes are gross, so are the coconut ones. OTOH, Mounds (Almond Joy minus the almonds) are good.

Caramel is almost always good. Very hard to make a bad caramel!

Coffee/Mocha in chocolate is NASTY! Same for coffee in general. Why can't it taste as good as it smells?!

Who all here has eaten an Idaho Spud Bar? It's a lump of squishy, chocolate flavored nougat, coated in chocolate with a light coating of finely shredded coconut. Made in Idaho by the Idaho Candy Co. idahospud.com

I've always been a crazy huge fan of chocolate. My dad and I used to sit down and eat two boxes of chocolates a week. It worked out pretty well 'cause we always got the variety boxes and if I didn't get one I liked, he liked it and vice versa. The only bad thing about that system was that it only came with one peanut, one caramel, one cashew, and one cherry. The rest were various creamy mixes like peanut butter or some such, and he usually got those four.

I was around six or seven then, but I was a kid of the 90's. Who knows what changed?

... I want a box of See's now...
