#438 - Adjustment
It’s funny how I don’t pay much attention to sheets anymore. When I was little it was always very exciting when my mom changed the sheets on my bed. Would I be sleeping on Batman tonight? Garfield? The generic space battle Star Wars rip off sheets? I think my favorite bedding set was the Transformers. Optimus Prime looked really cool even on a pillow

I’ve altogether stopped using sheets. I’m in the south, and it’s just too hot. I just stick with a nice, goose down comforter. However, the last time I had sheets I was around the age of 9. I am not afraid to admit that they were Pokemon sheets. That’s right, I slept on Pikachu nightly.
Also, the use Biff finds for the sheet fragments could make a pretty good comic…

Back when I slept on a mattress, my sheets would never fit correctly and it was a constant struggle to keep them on the mattress. Those elastic things they sell didn’t work too well either.
Now I sleep on a wooden plank. A flat sheet spread out over the plank makes things easy.

There’s nothing like slipping in between a newly-laundered fresh set of sheets.
They’re crisp and cool, then warm up and become snuggly. And yeah, I buy the expensive high-count sheets. They’re even better.

I only really use a comforter although I do have a form-fitting sheet for my mattress to make sure it stays clean, because my dog sleeps on my bed too.

right now? I sleep on boring beige sheets. I’m not sure I ever used novelty bedding, even as I child. I guess I used to have these thicker sheets with penguins on them during the winter months when I was 8/9/10-but they were just some small designs.

Whoo! I almost guessed it
The Duck Has Spoken.

I sleep on a hammock, so none of my sheets fit!

I had some nice sheets with hot-air balloons on them when I was little. They were awesomely soft. Maybe I should ask my mother if she still has them.

Man, I don’t even remember a time when my Mum changed my sheets for me. It has always been my responsibility, which is bad because I only change my sheets when I notice the smell, which is about two weeks after everyone else notices the smell.
But right now I’m sleeping in Pirates of the Caribbean sheets, which feature Jack and Will in *ACTION POSES*! Swinging swords and whatnot.
I never had any REALLY awesome sheets, however I did have a Garfield sleeping bag that said ‘nap attack sack’.

I never had those crazy Pokemon/Power Rangers/Mickey sheets, I feel fine in a normal sheet with Teddy Bears on it

When I was a kid I had a set of pound puppy blankets. Then a few years ago, I was talking to my sister and discovered that one time during a sleep over her friend and her friend’s boyfriend slept in my bed….and when I say slept I mean “slept” *wink wink nudge nudge*…long story short: My pound puppy sheets were defiled *cries*

I am a sheet person too, I love a nice set of sheets. I don’t mind spending a little bit more for sheets that are nice. Really, you pay $20 for a t-shirt you wear every three weeks. It’s worth the extra money to me for something I use every day.
One a side note, a neat little tip I have picked up: If you buy striped sheets, it will always be easy to orient your sheets. I always hating having the hunt for which side was the long size on the fitted sheet, even if it only did take 12 seconds. Now, I just make sure my stripes are vertical.

I use a sheet on my mattress, but just use my comforter. I have a full size bed, but a king size comforter. I could wrap myself in it like 3 times over and have some left over. Great for when I get a girlfriend who steals all my freaking blankets in her sleep. -_-

I just have regular pattern sheets. I like striped ones the best so you can tell which way they go on.

Biff didn’t have many girlfriends
growing up, did he?

Never had “kids” sheets. I’ve always had, as long as I can remember, normal, boring sheets.
February 7th, 2008 at 12:23 pm
I hate when that happens…danm sheets. >_
February 7th, 2008 at 2:21 pm
I slept on 101 Dalmation sheets till I was like….14. >.>…..Then I went to Cocoa cola…..Even though I’m a Mountain Dew kid. D:

Is it tool week again?
February 7th, 2008 at 5:30 pm
I like my Simpsons sheets… and I have a twin sized bed and a queen sized bed so I often get my sheets mixed up. XP
And why doesn’t Biff just plant the sheets and let them grow bigger?
February 7th, 2008 at 5:40 pm
I got it! I got it!
I’ve never had the kind of sheets you guy’s had, then. Mine were always plain, and maybe sometimes pastel or floral. No Idea why.
I guess they were cheap?
Another idea for this comic: “Biff suddenly realizes where his wallet had gone on his trip to the mattress factory.”(or you can replace that with ‘on his prize-ticket trip to the nearby mattress factory’ or ‘factories’)

Double post…..
Is it weird to prefer sleeping on the floor?
In general I have this strange urge to go through a cycle of: Sleep on bed w/covers, sleep on floor w/covers, sleep on floor, sleep on bed, sleep on bed w/covers, {initialize int Loop; Loop = var sleepCycle + counterInfinite;}.
I love programming. :] (only a beginner though, as shown by the lack of actal ‘code’ in that thing :p )
February 7th, 2008 at 7:44 pm
I am going to regret eating a bowl of black cherries then drinking cranberry juice, but it was worth it. now biff is going to sleep at an angle from now on
February 8th, 2008 at 8:30 am
I had transformer sheets when I was young too!!!! God, I wish I had hung on to them. Knowing how insane people are, I probably could have pulled a couple grand off of them on Ebay. =]
February 8th, 2008 at 11:31 am
used to have a favourite pillow as a kid, it had a puppy that was asleep with little ‘z’s coming from him. it was so cute. awww, always made me sleep really quickly aswell cos it felt strangley more comfortable than a normal pillow cover
February 10th, 2008 at 11:48 pm
And now he’ll be sleeping on a tilted bed because he cut off the legs with that side!
YeahYeah: I like that idea. I should get a striped sheet for no-fuss alignment too.
What covers do I have? Whatever we have around here, which includes plain sheets and a flowery blanket. I was able to snatch my sister’s Lion King pillowcase after she moved out, though. When that’s unavailable, I have a flowery pillowcase.
February 11th, 2008 at 12:25 am
I have a queen-sized bed because I sprawl out in my sleep. I worry that, if I get married, I might accidentally kick my husband in my sleep.
I also have a bunch of pillows and blankets, so I have the bed to myself.

Wow, that took me forever to get it! xD ^^;
