#482 - Smashed
This week’s theme is pretty fun to do. I’ve spent a lot of time flipping through old comics in preparation for it. It’s funny how some comics seem like I drew them only a few weeks ago but they are over a year old. The opposite is also true, there are some comics that I barely remember making but I just drew them 2 weeks ago.

Nice!
Giant robotic hands would probably interfere with a LOT of day-to-day activities.

what can that hand not inconvenience?

@stonehydra - smashing the garbage down into the can so you can wait an extra day before you have to take it outside.

Great comic ^.^ I remembered both strips mentioned here just like they showed up yesterday.

Seems to me that thing’d be useful in in arm-wrestling or thumb war… mind, it’d be like using a nuke to kill a mosquito, but still…

WOOP! combo-week! great idea.
funky new site, too.
in the good way.

Ha, before I worked out the theme from reading comments this week’s comics were messing with my mind a bit. Especially todays, I was just like “I’m sure I’ve seen this before… but… haven’t…”

@Chris
I don’t know if you’ll read this or not, but I have a suggestion. And no. it’s not a suggestion of what the next comic should be. What I suggest is that you tell us which of your old comics you drew inspaeration from while making your combined comic. You could do this by posting a link to the old ones in your comment box that you always put under your comics.
If you do end up doing this, then might I also suggest that you go back and put said links in all of the comics of this weeks theme.

This theme is so awesome and unique, just like the comic. It’s perfect! Here’s to many more years, Chris!
Also, the new site design is very nifty! A nice change without a new, alienating look.

Apparently Biff is having trouble remembering the older comics too. “Dang it, I forgot I still have the robot hand! I can’t do anything with this stupid robot hand.”
April 9th, 2008 at 7:59 am
@APic - I think others are having fun trying to guess what the old comics are. If you look up in the comments you will see links to the correct comics.

@SEA - That’s why he keeps all those spares by the door! Although with the robot hand, he might still have a little trouble picking them up. Or end up ramming them right through the lock…
April 9th, 2008 at 8:41 am
why does he have a robot hand anyway? lol
April 9th, 2008 at 8:51 am
LOL
why doesn’t he use his other hand?
sorry, sorry… I know (sound + reasoning) + Biff = notgunnahappin / (cause it wouldn’t be funny)
I’m really enjoying this week, BTW!

A giant robotic hand needs an
industrial strength digestive
and waste removal system.

I can’t wait for number 500.
April 9th, 2008 at 2:53 pm
His house is farther away from the mountains.
April 9th, 2008 at 2:59 pm
@Steve from Accounting - He’s at a party, that’s not his house.
April 9th, 2008 at 4:38 pm
Oh! for the big 500 the caption should be “biff realizes that when there are people in the cake, the cake is not real” and and biffs head sticking out of a giant chocolate cake (for better stains).
And please pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease do a comic with the flame pummeling hammers this week! (I think it is number 2)
