#512 - Corona

A friend of mine helped me install a radio in my car one winter. We used his garage because it had a nice propane space heater. We would take breaks to stand by it and thaw out our hands. At one point he was doing something that didn’t require my help so I went over and hung out by the heater. I was wearing loose fitting jeans so it took awhile for the air to heat up between the denim and my legs. After a bit I got back into the car and immediately jumped back out when my searing hot pants started burning their thread pattern into my skin.

Stumble Biff!

But im sure they’re worth the effort

There’s nothing like a marshmallow burned to a crisp off the heat of our lovely sun.

    The Duck Has Spoken.

  3. Micah

He should watch out. I hear marshmallows absorb radiation. Is Biff immune to radiation?

  4. Stud Kickass

Z particles!! Too much is a bad thing.

  5. Heinrich

hm… electromagnetic marshmallows. they’re white, though, so they reflect a lot (at least in the visible spectrum, which i suppose is really negligible).

  6. Sleepingorange

I feel like there’s supposed to be a hidden picture in the stars, and I’m just missing it.

  7. Carpaccio

I remember one time at work where I was heating up my hands in the bain marie, then got told to grab things from the freezer.

The pain and numbness in my hands is something I’d never want to go through again.

  8. brickface

I belive Biff’s face is in the stars, Sleepingorange.

    Space week?
    Rocket week?

  10. SEA

    Story week XD

  11. JezMM

Teehee, I was about to say, while it was pretty clear as being a rocket/space week, this is the first theme week that almost has a kind of ongoing storyline, teehee. Biff’s epic quest to make cosmic toasted marshmallows (thus far…). Awesome stuff.

So Biff traveled all the way into space…got sprayed in the face with soda…to roast marshmellows…over the sun…and they burned. I hope Biff likes black marshmellows.

    Hot pants week?

  14. Chris

    @Jeremy - Hahahaha!

I wonder, is this Space Week in any way related to NASA’s 50th Anniversary this year?

Other space related events coming up: the Phoenix probe is due to land on Mars on May 25th, and Space Shuttle Discovery will launch May 31st on the STS-124 mission which will deliver the remaining components of the Japanese laboratory Kibo to the International Space Station.

Just how many rocket cereal prizes is Biff winning!?!

And how in the world did he successively manuver to the sun without crashing into it?

  17. A Friend of Mine

Ha Ha, Your forgot to say that it was, what, midnight? I think you fried yourself when I was struggling to take out the old radio from the dashboard for like 45 min….before you jumped in and it just fell out into your hands :)
I’m also glad you didn’t mention how we swapped the power and light wires so nothing worked, or the fun fest of adding the CD player, or tossing onion rings out the window while tooling down the highway, or…. oh wait, am I ruining future ‘rants’? Crud.

  18. Seraphine

Some people roast their marshmallows slowly. I don’t
think they taste right unless you catch them on fire.
I don’t recommend catching your pants on fire, however.

  19. Josh

@kenshin: He’s Biff. Physics don’t seem to apply to him.

  20. no name

YAY SPACE/ROCLET WEEK! AND IT HAS A SLIGHT PLOT. lol. I see a face in the stars but it doesn’t look like Biff.

  21. Reynard

This week’s theme: “BIFF IN SPAAAAAAAAACE…”

  22. MaskedMan

Maybe the face in the stars is a Biff relative, who has passed on?

  23. Torg

A Biff relative passing on?From what I know of Biff, that shouldn’t be possible. And I don’t see any eyebrows. Even Archaeopterbiff had the eyebrows.

  24. Amake

Fossilized eyebrows no less. What are those things made of? O.o
