Ahh, milkshakes, one of the most glorious types of soquid that exists. I prefer Chocolate myself, despite the fact that it makes my stomach hurt. They should be thick enough that it's difficult to suck it through a straw, but not so thick that it's impossible. Red Robin (yummm) makes some of the greatest Shakes that exist.

Dairy Queen basically does the same thing Ritter's does. I admire their confidence, but mostly I keep going there in the hopes that they might, just once, make it a little too thin.

Heh, I love a good shake. If I can help it, I'll always get a shake over a soda whenever my family gets fast food. Really, I guess I just like that middle ground that shakes are, too liquidy to be ice cream, too thick to be a drink. Whenever I have ice cream, I'll stir it around and let it melt until it's thin, but still thick enough to need a spoon, and whenever I have root beer floats, I'll always put in a lot of ice cream but little root beer so that it becomes thick enough to eat with a spoon, too.

Personal fave? Oreo Cookie can't be beat.

You go to Ritter's too? My mom occasionally takes me there on hot Summer days and, yes, I will attest to the fact that they turn it upside-down in front of you before handing it to you.

Oddly enough, there's an ice cream shop down the street from my home called Ritter's, and they have a shake that's really a shake, but it's thick enough that they actually serve it to you through the window upside-down. How's that for confidence? =P
