I cut halfway through my thumb at work one day. Hurt like hell (surprise surprise) but the pain went away fairly quickly. That on it’s own, not a problem. Dropping a 10 lb box of cherry tomatoes on it the next day, that was a problem. I almost fainted in the refrigerator, then I nearly threw up.

Don’t do that.

Plus, if you get cut on the very tip of your finger you can bleed to death.

(True fact, they used to torture and kill people by cutting all the tips of their toes and fingers.)
