When the surgeons got in there they found a small tree(2-3 inches) growing and blocking air from getting into one of his lungs. I don't remember what kind. This actually happened, not urban-legend happened, and made it on a lot of news programs around here because it was just that weird. My mom was cleaning my ears, and my dad came in and said I had something in my ear. He then reached over and pretended to be fooling around with my ear and pretended to pull an onion out of it.
