Why do you think I wrote this comic from experience? None of these comics are remotely tied to my real life. I don’t know what you are talking about.

How does Biff’s mouth work, anyway? The hole in his face extends beyond the confines of his face.

It’s horrible brushing teeth just after a chocolaty dessert. It looks terrible. Not to mention the contrast between chocolate and fake mint…
August 27th, 2008 at 12:21 am
…That’s a very good question. Either way, it’s even worse when you eat something that REALLY does NOT go with mint flavor right before brushing your teeth. Though, I guess if you don’t have mint flavor toothpaste, you wouldn’t have this problem.
August 27th, 2008 at 12:38 am
i always thought mint and chocolate went together fairly well… must be a british thing.
also, i’ve had this problem, if no-one else has.

Orange juice + Toothbrushing = Blearg
(Btw, rinsing your mouth out with water before brushing prevents nasty flavor combinations)
August 27th, 2008 at 1:59 am
You should always rinse your mouth before brushing your teeth Chris…

It’s a butterfly!
August 27th, 2008 at 2:34 am
Your absolutely correct pieman it is a butterfly with delicate outstretched wing covering the expanses of the known and unknown.
August 27th, 2008 at 2:50 am
I see a dog.
With it’s head split open.
Hurm.
August 27th, 2008 at 3:06 am
This is an all too common problem for me, lol.
August 27th, 2008 at 3:08 am
Agreed with DrT: it is a good idea to gargle before brushing to remove the horrible flavor mix and of course, ruining your sink.
August 27th, 2008 at 4:42 am
Try fruit punch Gatorade, it makes your bristle turn a lovely shade of red. That was not a good sight to see early in the morning.
August 27th, 2008 at 5:05 am
Y’know, that’s so true…
August 27th, 2008 at 5:35 am
I once ate a choclate chip cookie before brushing my teeth, not good.
August 27th, 2008 at 7:28 am
I really like the art in this one. The first-person Biff-cam is a view we rarely see, and it’s cool to shake it up sometimes. Times like now.
August 27th, 2008 at 9:13 am
No, I never make that mistake! I especially don’t make it almost every night!
August 27th, 2008 at 9:15 am
At least he didn’t eat a bag of oreos before brushing his teeth with cinnamon-flavored tooth paste. Yearg….
@wrincewind - it’s not just a British thing, chocolate and mint go together really well. Most American tooth pastes are just poorly flavored to resemble something that might at one point taste like mint….
August 27th, 2008 at 10:25 am
hahaha yeah oreos and cinnamon toothpaste are incredibly gross…
my parents buy this toothpaste that is like even-crappier-than-crappy-fake-cinnamon cinnamon flavored..its terrible..
August 27th, 2008 at 10:44 am
heh, what a thing for me to see on the morning of a dentist appointment!
“hrrrmmmm…” somehow comes to mind as well
August 27th, 2008 at 10:58 am
Ever drank a ton of something red and then brushed your teeth. Then forget?
“OH GOD, MY GUMS!” Oh wait, that’s right…..
August 27th, 2008 at 11:18 am
When was the last time we saw Biff without his face? Musta been ages ago, ’cause I can’t remember.
August 27th, 2008 at 11:29 am
Does anyone remember the powdered candy called Raven’s Revenge? I skipped a few heartbeats brushing my teeth after eating that. As for the Rorschach, it’s my mother as a centaur hunting my father through Candyland. Trust me.

This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. - Rorschach’s journal. October 12 th, 1985.

Am I the only one to notice this is the very first comic from Biff’s perspective, and also the first comic wherein we don’t actually see him?
(Other than his hand that is)
GR
August 27th, 2008 at 1:48 pm
Nice job on the perspective.
August 27th, 2008 at 3:31 pm
I laughed when I saw that, because I do that waaay too frequently with gatorade.
August 27th, 2008 at 4:26 pm
@Jackson
My first thought was, “The…spit and chocolate art? Made by Biff in his bathroom sink? That’s uh…interesting.”
August 27th, 2008 at 5:28 pm
i see a………… blob of chocalaty mix of toothpaste and spit.
August 27th, 2008 at 6:40 pm
wrincewind : I know its a bit late to say it but mint & chocolate DO go together. However, would you brush your teeth with one of those choco-mints they put on your pillow at hotels?
…do they still do that? I’ve never actually been to a hotel that put any kind of edible substance in your room.
August 27th, 2008 at 6:41 pm
A rly bad idea is to drink orange juice after brushing your teeth. Maybe it only applies for our special orange juice in Florida, but it tastes nasty together. XP
August 27th, 2008 at 6:42 pm
Oh, and I love how all the ads are for dental hygene…content-scanning ad scripts can be fun sometimes.
August 27th, 2008 at 9:11 pm
For the mint-chocolate combo thing, I meant the really weird mint flavour they use for toothpaste. It doesn’t taste good with anything.
August 27th, 2008 at 10:44 pm
Weight loss and undereye bags. That’s what all the ads say next to mine.
August 28th, 2008 at 3:23 pm
Uh-Oh, while biff was eating his pudding, someone took a crap in his sink!
August 28th, 2008 at 7:35 pm
I like Oreos(tm) and cinnamon.
And I prefer the combination of fake-chocolate and fake-mint flavors to the real ones combined.
I have a hobby of mixing all the drink flavors where-ever fast food resturants offer free refills.
Never mix clear sodas with opaque, but add a little zest to your day by adding a bit of one of the fruit-flavored ones to a cup 3/5 Dr. Pepper and 3/8 Diet Coke; delicious, yet tangy!
I also used to stare at the sun when I was a child.
Now I feel no pain or shock when the lights go on/off.
Now I wear glasses.
Now I see things perfectly.
Rorshach Blot: I see non-humanoid alien race 8142 from Star Trek.
That is the right number, right?
August 29th, 2008 at 11:50 pm
Rorschach!
(The best character in “Watchmen”, btw)
I think something alike has happened to most of us.
August 30th, 2008 at 5:13 pm
You’re all wrong. It’s a group of bunny bullies or a council of evil bunnies looking down at some helpless critters they threw in a pit, or are watching some helpless critters in a dark place with a mystic pool of evil.
August 31st, 2008 at 2:02 pm
I once knew someone with a black cat.
Anyone want to guess it’s name?
… I see “scrubbing bubbles,” making me quite the victim of my age (not yet post-consumer) I suppose.
September 1st, 2008 at 3:24 pm
Been there, done that, fretted all night thinking my lungs had expelled some blood o_O
September 16th, 2008 at 6:55 pm
Also been there done that, but not like immediately after eating the pudding or anything.

The worst combination is mint toothpaste and garlic. Once, after some especially potent garlic cream cheese left my tongue burning, I went to brush my teeth. Not only was the mint garlic flavor disgusting, but the toothpaste exponentially increases the burning pain.
