Dang, what did I used to eat at McDonalds before McNuggets? I guess hamburgers? I can barely remember. I know the food didn’t really concern me back then as much as what toy I would get in the happy meal.

July 30th, 2009 at 3:17 am
I like nuggets. Don’t like tea. Combination?
I’ll pass.
July 30th, 2009 at 5:53 am
Eeeeeew…
That… sounds disgusting. But I will try it at the earliest opportunity.

Frozen chicken nuggets. You buy them in the freezer section and defrost the ice nuggets at home. Of course, I’d never have considered using them as substitutes for ice cubes…

I used to be crazzy about Mcdonalds, but a few years ago I suddenly realized how bland their burgers were… sure, I still wax nastalgia with an ocasional Big N’ Tasty meal, but otherwise I try to steer clear of Mickey D’s most of the time… then again, I am only like sixteen, so I don’t think I’m actually qualified to be nastalgic over anything…

Hmmm…. Hot greasy tea in the winter. Cold greasy tea in the summer…
I wonder how fish sticks do as ice substitutes..?

I never was fond of McDonald’s. I used to get their kids’ meals when was little, but one day I found out they put onions on ALL their burgers.
Ew. I can’t stand onions. >_<

McDonalds was awesome when I was a kid, I remember my mum took me there for my birthday party when I was 6 and we had a guy dressed up as Ronald McDonald do magic tricks.
July 30th, 2009 at 9:32 am
McDonald’s is the devil’s diner! I have eaten there in over five years now. The taste isn’t worth the price nor non-existant nutritional value.
July 30th, 2009 at 10:02 am
@ Chris: Mmmmmmm? You mean like a rant being gagged by the corporate censors? Don’t worry. The adbots only look for keywords. They don’t actually get context yet, do they? Or homonyms?
Mc Donalds! Mc Donalds! Mc Donalds! Buy, buy!

I’ve actually used deep frozen meatballs to cool my bailey’s a night when we had no ice.
It was not a very good idea, and it didn’t get any better when we decided to add some dessert wine…

I used to eat the Chicken nuggets at the fast food restaurant. But now, I’m allergic to the coating.

@TTC: Most people would say you’re not qualified to feel nostalgic. But I was younger than you when I first used the phrase “in the Olden Golden Days” to refer to an earlier time in my life. So, I dig what you’re saying.
@Masked Man: I both love the way your mind works, and fear it.
All other issues aside, I think the soggy crumbs in the tea would be a tad nasty!

July 30th, 2009 at 9:28 pm
Those chicken nuggets are straight out of the freezer, right? Biff is using them as substitutes?
July 30th, 2009 at 11:53 pm

July 30th, 2009 at 11:59 pm
Fast food tastes like crap. McDonald’s tastes like the crappiest crap that ever crapped. Not ever putting that in my tea, kthxbye.

1 bullion cube,
two table spoons of Mrs. Dash
12 Oz of hot water
Coffee filter and funnel
Chicken, suitable batter (google chicken nugget batter)
Chicken cut into 1″ cubes
Batter chicken, deep fry till done
Heat water to boiling, reduce heat, add cube and let it dissolve, add Mrs. Dash let sit for about 5 minutes then strain with coffee filter and funnel. Add nuggets and enjoy.
It’s more of a deep fried chicken nugget soup.

I’m not a big fan of Maccers chicken nuggets. I prefer to make my own (basically, a tablespoonful of chicken mince dipped in egg, then Panko breadcrumbs, and then deep-fried in the wok). Much nicer.
I will admit to loving their Frozen Cokes and their Chicken Deluxe burgers. The hamburgers usually give me a nasty stomachache, not yet sure if it’s the pickles or the sauce.
I usually make my own hamburgers as well, basically beef mince patted into an egg ring and then cooked on the griller. They’re usually thicker than Maccers patties, and they seem to taste better.
