#863 – Cracked
I think I have too many special “important documents” areas. I keep running into situations where a document is so important that I invent a brand new special place to lose it. All the other related paperwork is still sitting here on my desk where I last put it. But I outsmarted myself and taped the important piece to the underside of the desk. I of course won’t remember this until I upgrade my office furniture.

That’s why my filing system is infinitely superior: Everything goes on the floor, where I can find it any time.

Oh it’s VERY convenient, if you have the solution and a place you need to put it, but it certainly isn’t very useful in such a location.
Totally understand the sentiment though, I can almost never find an important piece of info right away, even if it’s the day I put it away for safe-keeping. Ever have to go through password recovery the first day of registry?

man, i can’t even begin to recall all the times that i decided that something was too important to put where i USUALLY put similar things, instead, i insisted on stuffing it inside of a sock and hiding it back in the far corner underneath my bed or some other ridiculous location @_@ definitely something i can relate with biff on, haha, so many things found when i was moving out… and they weren’t very useful or important anymore, haha

I lose track of my lottery tickets in much the same way. Not that it matters much, though, as I never win more than $2… on a $5 ticket. I’d almost prefer losing.

Long Time Reader, First Time Poster.
Also: It is my birthday.
Also: My answer to most puzzles is 84, being the number I hit it with a hammer. So I really enjoyed this one.

Isn’t that the Rubik’s Cube solution?

Ha! This is _exactly_ where I store the instructions to my puzzle box. When I first got it as a gift, it was fun to figure out how to open it, but it was kind of disappointing that there was nothing inside. Now anyone else who opens it has an amusing surprise waiting for them.

Heh!
I kick major butt at puzzle boxes and that kind of thing… Hiding stuff inside one is no problem for me.
The file situation, though… That’s what keeps me employed these days: Document management, or “how not to lose the important stuff.” It’s a secure job.

This made me lol because I’m in that kind of situation.
I found my cell phone, and I was like ” Better put this somewhere special so that when I find the charger, I can charge it. ”
A week later, my big brother found my charger in its ‘ special place. ‘ Inside my printer. Now I can’t find the phone.
