What’s scary is that autopilots are about to depend on GPS; so the next really strong Coronal Mass Ejection that messes-up the satellites is gonna also make a mess of the ‘friendly’ skies!

I couldn’t rely too much on a GPS, I navigate by landmarks, and if I’ve been to where I was going at least once before.

Anyone else than just me who thinks that the skyscrapers look a bit like oddly-shaped Tetris pieces? I’m hoping that a small skyscraper will come down from the sky and land in that little gap…

Would this be a bad time to mention that GPS data is intentionally fudged by ~10 meters or so, so that America’s enemies can’t target missiles onto our hardened bunkers using our own satellites, since that’s almost the only time +/- 10 meters matters…and driving in New England is the other.
