Seriously, I mean Thanksgiving is great and all, what with the food and the getting out of school, but I don't care that people don't celebrate it. Sort of like Christmas. I love it. So you don't celebrate it? So what? Your loss, man.

Probablement, mais plus la phrase est plus compliquée, plus il plus probable devient que les erreurs se produira. Telle est la nature de la traduction.

Oui, c'est vrai.

As to your previous translation:

Je m'amuse aussi.

I amuse myself too.

Close, but no cigar.

It says:

English: I amuse myself too.
French: Je m'amuse aussi.

English: I am amused too.
French: Je m'amuse aussi.

I'm not sure; I just assumed that the filler for the subject of the sentence would be different. Upon thinking about it, "m'amusant" made sense with my knowledge of the French laguage. Tacking "Je" in front of it made it read as "I amuse myself" rather than "I am amused".
I have a bit more to learn, it seems...

As for the whole "have fun" thing, it's the same word in French as "amuse", so no problem there.

Only romance languages. Have fun with German, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Quiché...

On the subject of Thanksgiving, the best part of Thanksgiving doesn't actually happen on Thanksgiving: The best part is the sandwiches you get to eat for the next week.

Well, this year we got an 18 1/2 pound turkey for four people; it was the smallest we could find. We'll have it for awhile.
