I don't know, Chris is the one I'm really worried about. But to tell the truth, I'm just glad I'm drawing again. In the last few years, I've done only a half dozon or so drawings that were for me and not in a class setting. Last night I just started drawing on what happen to be there (which was my job hunting folder, so now I have to photoshop out "Job Hunting" from the middle of my drawing. XD ). It a feeling I haven't had in a long time. Especially sense Pel left, I've had no creativity, and in college I was both too busy and lacked the drive. Those years were about schoolwork, going to class and spending time with my friends, especially Pel and Orangey. I wish I could have realized at the time how happy I was.

Not really what I was going for, but thanks. That was when I was still working at the debt collection place. One day I got home, and tried to draw Pel, but nothing was coming out right. I got mad and started working the charcoal with just my hands. This is the outcome.

Thank you. It started as just a doodle. The hard part was getting her in without blocking what I drew of him and making it look real. I think I managed, but I still need to edit it. I might do it the old fashion way and start by making a photo copy. Edit: Showed them to a friend of mine from college, got the harshest critique I've ever gotten. It started out as just a harsh critique, but by the end, it was just... I don't know. The thing he said about the latest piece I did was like "No, just, no." Not very helpful, I got to tell you. I'm being to emotional about it, but some of the things he said where really, just sorta mean at times. Dad is saying that I need to take my emotions out of it, and take what he says to better myself, but when he says things like "..What is this? I don't even..." (that's the entire message for one of them...) How can I not take that personally...  |

I could have understod if he gave you a "What is this? I don't even.." if you had drawn something like one of my monsters, but those are some quite good humans drawings, much better then mines. I can't even draw human faces...
and the golem thingy I worked on is allmost done now.

I have to go with what I know, then. I think that the side of the face is a little flat and bloby (sorry!), but that could be the angle of the piece. More layers of shading might bring it to a whole-nother level, and I really like the way you did the hair.
