Well, I read through the archives(Four whole pages of them? Seriously?) and I found no thread such as this. Basically you post lyrics from any song whatsoever that you have stuck in your head, you like a lot, or they gave you a mindfuck the first time you heard them. So I have these stuck in my head: Raspberry beret, the kind you find in a second-hand store; Raspberry beret- and if it was warm, she wouldn't wear much more as well as: We were just another band out of Boston, on the road to tryin' to make it big; Playing all the bars, sleeping in our cars, and we'd practice right on out in the street No, we didn't have much money; we barely made enough to survive But when we got up on stage, and got ready to play, people came alive... Like so. You can also find out songs you may have heard on the radio but don't know the names or artists to. I'm a huge music freak, so this should be fun for me.

The start and end of this song always duck with me. Brothers fall, day by day. DEAD was first "and all others followed". But now, another warrior has gone into the reaven realm of darkness.
I have never seen the lonely stars shine so bright, since you has died. And if you hear my cry run spheres, you know you will be in my heart. Remember Grimm
That's only the start and end but they're a total mindfuck, the start because it's true and the end because it's the opposite of what everyone who's only heard the bad about Black Metal think of when they hear black metal... and most other people actually.

I think of pounding bass and screams that hurt my ears, but most of it is quite good actually. I try to work around the screaming. Is Nargaroth the name of the song or the name of the band? 'Cause I want to look this song up and see if I can decipher the lyrics. One song that's always messed with me: It's been one week since you looked at me Cocked your head to the side and said 'I'm angry' Five days since you laughed at me, saying 'Get that together, come back and see me' Three days since the living room, I realized it's all my fault, but couldn't tell you Yesterday, you'd forgiven me But it'll still be two days 'till I say I'm sorry The rest of it is so damn confusing, it's almost indecipherable. However, once you look up the lyrics, you realize it makes no sense at all; if you try to sing it- or recite it, because it's not really sung- you get hopelessly confused.

It's dedicated to Erik Brødreskift that's all I can remember.

I love singing that song.
Me too. I've actually listened to it so much that I deciphered most of the lyrics without looking them up. First time I heard it, I was eight years old and watching the Digimon movie.

I watched digimon! I liked the one where they WERE the digimon rather then the other ones.... I also really liked the one that goes back to the original people but they're all older. I didn't see too many episodes, but I liked the idea of it a lot.
Umm....lyrics.
I heard you on the wireless back in Fifty Two Lying awake intent at tuning in on you. If I was young it didn't stop you coming through.
They took the credit for your second symphony. Rewritten by machine and new technology, and now I understand the problems you can see.
I met your children What did you tell them?
Video killed the radio star. Video killed the radio star. Pictures came and broke your heart.
In my mind and in my car, we can't rewind we've gone to far. Pictures came and broke your heart, so put all the blame on VTR...

I'm gonna have that in my head now Scarf....
Hopefully after this song is out, the two don't mix.
Anyhow, got this in my head since I just finished learning the drums for it.
(Doing everything on my own. Just to see if I can, I have a new loathing of drums.)
This is War? Wow!
I Lie Wounded on Wintery Ground With Hundred of Corpses around Many Wounded Crawl Helplessly around On the Blood Red Snowy Ground
War War War War
Cries of the (ha, ha) Suffering Sound Cries for Help to All Their Dead Moms
War War War War
Many Hours of Music Many Drops of Blood Many Shiverings and Now I Am Dead And Still We Must Never Give up
War War War War

Listening to a real old Tom Petty CD on the radio on the way to school, and when I arrive my new English teach is Ms. Petty! No relation, though. I once had a Mrs. Carlin, too. Eddie waited 'til he finished high school, he went to Hollywood, got a tattoo He met a girl out there with a tattoo too, the future was wide open. They moved into a place they both could afford, he found a nightclub he could work at the door She had a guitar and she taught him some chords- the sky was the limit. I don't know what I've been told You never slow down, you never grow old I'm tired of screwing up, I'm tired of going down I'm tired of myself, I'm tired of this town

NOOOO! And for your horrific screaming, I present: The Jonas Brothers. Well, I've been to the year 3000 Not much has changed, but they lived underwater And your great-great-great granddaughter Is doing fine Oh yes. Got that stuck in my head. It's not the Jonas Brother's music I mind so much(I haven't been listening to their recent albums) but more the gobs of money Disney is snapping up off the merchandise and Camp Rock.

That was just mean Scornful, relentless memory Ripped of all but drive Undressed by betrayal Zero tolerance for the souldead Wish I was the violence, inflicted upon you
Fuel for Hatred, air raid siren. Fuel for Hatred, to mankind
Little you, still like a claw in my eye Pulsating organic rage I should have let you off of the hook Mind drifts into dynamic pain Universal onslaught I'm on my own (One soul, one hate)
Fuel for Hatred, air raid siren. Fuel for Hatred, to mankind
Damnation, holocaust Devil horns for you to ride Time for the angel to spread his wings and fly World opponent, wishmaster of gruesome pain Stormtroops' frantic fury, demoniac spitfire!
Abortion of religious life, distinguish the rot I hate you to a level of intoxication Don't feel alone, I've got enough I wish you slow death, slow death by grinding
Fuel for Hatred, air raid siren. Fuel for Hatred, to mankind
The song I just accidentally insulted someone with, I was on the phone and started singing along.

Welcome to my secret lair on Skullcrusher Mountain I hope that you've enjoyed your stay so far I see you've met my assistant Scarface His appearance is quite disturbing But I assure you he's harmless enough He's a sweetheart, calls me master And he has a way of finding pretty things and bringing them to me
I'm so into you But I'm way too smart for you Even my henchmen think I'm crazy I'm not surprised that you agree If you could find some way to be A little bit less afraid of me You'd see the voices that control me from inside my head Say I shouldn't kill you yet
I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you But I get the feeling that you don't like it What's with all the screaming? You like monkeys, you like ponies Maybe you don't like monsters so much Maybe I used too many monkeys Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you?
I'm so into you But I'm way too smart for you Even my henchmen think I'm crazy I'm not surprised that you agree If you could find some way to be A little bit less afraid of me You'd see the voices that control me from inside my head Say I shouldn't kill you yet
Picture the two of us alone inside my golden submarine While up above the waves my doomsday squad ignites the atmosphere And all the fools who live their foolish lives may find it quite explosive But it won't mean half as much to me if I don't have you here
You know it isn't easy living here on Skullcrusher Mountain Maybe you could cut me just a little slack Would it kill you to be civil? I've been patient, I've been gracious And this mountain is covered with wolves Hear them howling, my hungry children Maybe you should stay and have another drink and think about me and you
I'm so into you But I'm way too smart for you Even my henchmen think I'm crazy I'm not surprised that you agree If you could find some way to be A little bit less afraid of me You'd see the voices that control me from inside my head Say I shouldn't kill you yet I shouldn't kill you yet I shouldn't kill you yet

A long, long time ago, I can still remember how that music used to make me smile; And I knew if I had my chance, that I could make those people dance, and maybe they'd be happy for a while But February made me shiver with every paper I'd deliver; Bad news on the doorstep- I couldn't take one more step I can't remember if I cried when I read about his widowed bride But something touched me deep inside the day the music died.
So bye, bye Miss American Pie; drove the Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey and rye, singing this'll be the day that I die This'll be the day that I die
Did you write the Book of Love, and do you have faith in God above If the Bible tells you so? Well, do you believe in rock and roll, can music save your mortal soul and Can you teach me how to dance real slow? Well, I know that you're in love with him, 'cause I saw you dancing in the gym You both kicked off your shoes, and I dig those rhythmic blues I was a lonely teenage broncin' buck with a pink carnation and a pickup truck But I knew I was out of luck the day the music died
We starting singing bye, bye Miss American Pie Drove the Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey and rye, singing this'll be the day that I die This'll be the day that I die
Now, for ten years, we been on our own, and moss grows fat on a rolling stone, but That's not how it used to be When the jester sang for the king and queen in a coat he borrowed from James Dean And a voice, that came from you and me Oh, and while the king was looking down the jester stole his thorny crown The courtroom was adjourned, no verdict was returned And while Lenin read a book of Marx, the quartet practiced in the park And we sang dirges in the dark the day the music died
We were singing 'Bye, bye Miss American Pie', drove the Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey and rye, singing this'll be the day that I die This'll be the day that I die
Helter, skelter, in a summer swelter the birds flew off for the fallout shelter Eight miles high and falling fa-a-ast And landed fall on the grass, the players tried for a forward pass With the jester on the sidelines in a cast The halftime air was sweet perfume while the sargents played a marching tune We all got up to dance, oh, but we never got the chance 'Cause the players tried to take the field, the marching band refused to yield Do you recall what was revealed the day the music died?
They were singing bye, bye Miss American Pie Drove the Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey and rye, singing This'll be the day that I die, this'll be the day that I die
And there we were all in one place A generation lost in space, with no time left to start again So come on, Jack be nimble, Jack be quick Jack Flash sat on a candlestick 'cause Fire is the devil's only friend And as I watched him on the stage my hands were clenched in fists of rage No angel born in hell Could break that Satan's spell And as the flames climbed high into the night, did you light the sacrificial right I saw Satan laughing with delight the day the music died
Singing bye, bye Miss American Pie Drove the Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey and rye, singing this'll be the day that I die This'll be the day that I die
I met a girl who sang the blues, and I asked her for some happy news But she just smiled and turned away So I went down to the sacred store where I'd heard the music years before But the man there said the music wouldn't play And in the streets the children screamed The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed But not a word was spoken The church bells all were broken- And the three men I admire most The Father, Son and the Holy Ghost They caught the last train for the coast the day the music died
So bye, bye Miss American Pie Drove the Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey and rye Singing this'll be the day that I die!
Hell yes, that is a songpost. Hell yes, I memorized all of the lyrics to American Pie.

*reads ziggys lyrics and rise againstyfies it* hmm, that is really nice *gets to first chorus* I feel so violated... some of mine favorite lyrics part things Torches-rise against The angels dance like feathers float, they're here to see and to be seen, the clock strikes two, the music slows and each one slowly dons their wings, once outside they all pair off and hand in hand they leave but I'm still waiting, yeah, and I'm still waiting
And if my hand could block the sun, would we ever wake up? And if I turned back all these clocks, would that be time enough? Will we ever wake up? a epic ending for a epic song rise against the good left undone All because of you, I haven’t slept in so long. When I do I dream of drowning in the ocean, Longing for the shore where I can lay my head down, Inside these arms of yours.
All because of you, I believe in angels. Not the kind with wings, No, not the kind with halos, The kind that bring you home, When home becomes a strange place. I’ll follow your voice, All you have to do is shout it out. another epic ending, the song is my favorite, but I like this part the most

I got one for you people.
Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world She took the midnight train goin' anywhere Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit He took the midnight train goin' anywhere
A singer in a smokey room A smell of wine and cheap perfume For a smile they can share the night It goes on and on and on and on
(Chorus) Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the night Streetlights people, living just to find emotion Hiding, somewhere in the night
Working hard to get my fill, everybody wants a thrill Payin' anything to roll the dice, just one more time Some will win, some will lose Some were born to sing the blues Oh, the movie never ends It goes on and on and on and on
Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the night Streetlights people, living just to find emotion Hiding, somewhere in the night
Don't stop believin' Hold on to the feelin' Streetlights people
Don't stop believin' Hold on Streetlight people
Don't stop believin' Hold on to the feelin' Streetlights people
P.S. Sorry for being gone for so long with out telling anyone. My life got squeezed threw a hippos butt and is all crazy now.
