There is a live-action Avatar movie coming out, but the commercial I saw said the title was The Last Airbender, so I'm not sure if it's the same one. |

Avatar is coming out much later. It is directed by James Cameron, is a sci-fi epic, and costs well over $300 million dollars. It's one of THE most highly anticipated movies to be coming out.
