Same here, but with very heavy drizzling.
Not that I'm complaining, mind.

We have had 2,028 days of summer so far. There was a brief period of autumn back in December of '04.

Oh man, good times.
I'm looking forward to winter this year. With the school year underway, the work I'll have to do will occupy me rather than the other stuff happening in my life. Gonna be a good school year.

Heh, today we had lettuce wraps, using lettuce picked fresh from our garden. Mom was just closing up her second one when she saw a little green caterpillar crawling along the edge of the leaf she was using. The little fellow is now safe outside.

One time I made chocolate chip cookies but instead of chocolate chips I used raisins. People were furious, I tell you.

I dunno. This one time my cafeteria served strawberry cake with what I thought were raisins and I was like 'Yay!' And then it turned out, chocolate chips. In strawberry cake. YUCK.

OK, I don't get it, what is this week's theme. Monday: "Giant Soda!" Tuesday: "Finger Painting Wall!" Wednesday: "Spider silk/Milk!" Thursday: "home improvement/daydreams!" Friday: "styled lawn!" and I'm like WTF? So. I lose...  Cry I was thinking sorta "color" as a theme until Thursday. It was a stretch before than, but that REALLY didn't make any sense.

Actually, the week started with "Tying Shoelaces". "Styled Lawn" is this week's. (Today is Monday, remember?)

Actually, last week's theme seems like a throwback to childhood. Tying your shoes, spilling soda, finger-painting, learning why you need to look before you drink, and "walking on the ceiling".

Or perhaps child shenanigans in adult situations. Shoe tying/Wisdom teeth; Soda spilling/Working at a desk; Finger-painting/painting your house; ceiling walk/home improvement. Although I don't quite see how bug drinking fits into that thing, since milk is generally more associated with children than grown-ups. Perhaps it's because Chris had a "fly on the rim" experience earlier that day.

Ha, we get a bunch of mail everyday, mostly from my dad's and brother's college. The rest is bills and information about my mum's job- nothing for me! Well, except Netflix.

That's because anybody who wants to talk to you just grabs a phone or hops online. Only only ever get mail from my bank or my work, except around xmas, when my out-of-state relatives send my family prezzies. Oh, and Netflix, although I'm usually the one least interested in movies.

I only get mail from the NHS, my bank, or when I've bought a shiny new toy on the internet.
Sadly, we don't have a garden out front to grow any barking tulips in.

You get stuff from NHS? I've never gotten anything from them past a first "here, you're a member of the National Honors Society" card.

I'm in Fight Club instead.

It's cool, I have a media badge!
Also Biff's water bills must be phenomenally high. In my part of the world it's been in drought for the past few summers, you're not allowed to water your lawn until before sunrise or after sunset to decrease water-wasting. If you get a lot of runoff down the street sometimes the city keeps track of how much water you use through the utilities company. A moat would be impractical for Texas unless you lived in the eastern part with all the rivers.
If I had a moat anyways mosquitoes would just spawn in it. I always forget to put the little thingies in the birdbath and such.
